CPR Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a reconstructing hair mask which smoothens, straightens and dramatically reduces frizz (even in high humidity). It reduces hair volume, increases shine and makes hair silky soft. It also offers easy combing power and protects hair against damage caused by flat irons and hair dryers. CPR Brazilian Keratin Treatment is loaded with intensive moisturizing ingredients like hydrolyzed keratin, vitamins and strawberry extract and smells incredible.
Our Brazilian Keratin Treatment is the formula known in the market as "formaldehyde-free', eventhough we do not promote it as such (for reasons mentioned in our FAQ section #24).
This formula has all the benefits of keratin treatment while being a lot less irritating during treatment and is actually great smelling (strawberry scented).
It relaxes the curl in your hair in a natural looking way rather than giving you 'pin straight' hair. You'll see amazing results from the first application and even more improvement with repeated applications.

Bottle size: 200 ml or 1 liter.
- Wear gloves during application.
- Apply treatment in a well-ventilated area.
- It is recommended to wear a mask during application.
- For best results, it is highly recommended that the treatment is applied by a hair professional.
Directions for use:
Step 1: Wash hair well with a Clarifying Shampoo. Lather and leave shampoo in hair for 10 mins. Rinse.
Step 2: Towel dry hair and blow dry till 100% dry.
Step 3: Pour approx. 25 ml for short hair, 50-100 ml for medium to long hair in a pot.
Step 4: Separate hair into sections of 3-4 cm each. Leaving 1 cm free below the roots and scalp, apply treatment with color applicator brush, gently massaging into the hair (like hair dye).
Step 5: Comb hair to ensure uniformity throughout.
Note: For very resistant, coarse or virgin hair, leave treatment to sit on hair for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Blow dry hair straight with a round brush and blow dryer.
Step 7: Flat iron hair using a heat-resistant, fine-toothed comb. Tap gently at the roots and slide downwards with a ceramic flat iron at 230˚C. Apply 5-7 flat iron strokes per section to seal in the keratin.
Aftercare instructions:
Do not wash hair for 4 days (96 hours). Avoid getting moisture in the hair. If hair gets wet or moist by accident, immediately blow dry and flat iron as needed.
Avoid sweating and exercise.
Don’t put your hair behind your ears. Don’t use glasses to pull hair back.
Don’t tie hair into a ponytail.
Don’t use hair clips, hair bands, rubber bands, headbands, hats, etc. on the head.
Wear hair down all the time and keep as straight as possible.
Use a silk scarf if necessary to pull hair away from face.
Using a shampoo without Sodium Chloride on the 4th day and afterwards is a MUST. Sodium Chloride strips the treatment from the hair. It is recommended to use our CPR Aftercare (BKT) Shampoo & Conditioner, which are specifically formulated to maintain and prolong smooth and shiny Keratin treated hair.
Salt (Sodium Chloride) in sea water and Chlorine in swimming pools strips the treatment from the hair so should be avoided as to lengthen duration of treatment.
CPR AFTERCARE (BKT) SHAMPOO is especially formulated to maintain and prolong smooth and shiny Keratin treated hair. It provides hair with vitamins and amino-acids while gently removing any residues and restoring shine and manageability. It does not contain Sodium Chloride which strips the Keratin treatment from the hair and is suitable for daily use. It also has a balanced pH that is compatible with the natural pH of the hair.
CPR AFTERCARE (BKT) CONDITIONER is a conditioning mask especially formulated to maintain and prolong smooth and shiny Keratin treated hair. It detangles and moisturizes hair leaving it silky soft and manageable. It contains silicones and specific vitamins which help close the cuticles and protect the hair fiber, guaranteeing capillary restoration.

1. Is this treatment a relaxer ?
No. It is a treatment based of keratin that naturally straightens your hair.
2. Can you do the treatment after coloring?
Yes. For better results we recommend only after you color your hair.
3. Can you do the treatment on top of relaxed hair?
Yes. You can do the treatment over any previously relaxed hair.
4. Can you do the treatment on previously chemically treated hair?
Yes. You can do the treatment over any chemical.
5. Can you do the treatment on highlighted hair?
Yes. You can do the highlights and do the treatment right after.
6. Can you do on virgin hair?
Yes. But it wont last as long as a previously colored or chemically treated hair.
7. Can I color my hair and do the treatment?
Yes. We recommend you color the hair first.
8. Can I color my hair after the treatment?
Yes. We recommend to wait 2 weeks after you have done the treatment.
9. Can I wash my hair after the treatment, and when?
Yes, but only 4 whole days after you have done the treatment.
10. Can I wear a ponytail or tie my hair?
No, only 4 days after the treatment.
11. What should I do if my hair gets wet during the first 4 days?
Blow dry immediately.
12. Can I go into the pool or ocean after the treatment?
After one week. Always wet hair and apply conditioner before swimming and rinse well after.
However, keep in mind that the salt/chlorine in the water will strip the treatment faster from the
hair.
13. How long will the treatment stay on my hair?
2-4 months on virgin hair, and 4-6 on any other type of hair.
14. What shampoo can I use after doing the treatment?
We recommend our shampoo, because it does not contain Sodium Chloride and it is especially formulated to protect and prolong the treatment.
15. Do I have to do touch-ups on my next visit or the whole head?
The whole head.
16. When should I have the treatment done again?
3 months or as needed.
17. Can I do the treatment every month?
Yes.
18. Should I cut my hair before the treatment?
No. we recommend cutting your hair afterwards, so this way you can
trim the dead ends at the end of the treatment.
19. Can I use any hair-spray, gel, mousse, or any other hair products on my hair during the 4 day period?
No.
20. If I get any ridges in my hair when I sleep, what should I do?
Use either a blow dryer or flat iron to straighten out the ridge in the hair.
21. Can I do the treatment while pregnant or nursing ?
No. It is not recommended by the FDA.
22. Can an infant be present while the treatment its being done?
No. Because the smell may irritate the child.
23. Can you do the treatment over Japanese straightening?
Yes. You can do the treatment over any kind of straightening.
24. What is "Formaldehyde Free"?
Although formaldehyde is not listed as an ingredient in our products, we do not advertise them as "formaldehyde free". This is mainly because there is currently a great deal of confusion and false advertising regarding formaldehyde. We feel that advertising genuine Brazilian Keratin products as "formaldehyde free" is usually a disingenuous marketing gimmick, and potentially even harmful. You may have heard that many, if not all "formaldehyde free" BKT products actually still carry significant amounts of substances that are either formaldehyde under a different name, or a slightly altered
form of formaldehyde. It is true. The first problem is the basic dishonesty of the marketing. The
second problem is the fact that if stylists and their clients think that a product is formaldehyde free, they may not follow the same stringent safety protocols as they would with standard formaldehyde products. This is compounded by the fact that many of these brews, whether ether, aldehydes, urea, or similar mixes, absolutely share the characteristics of, or convert into, a potent cousin of formaldehyde. Often the resulting compound, when heated converts into a form of raw unrefined formaldehyde. Unfortunately, since we strive to maintain corporate honesty, it can be a bit more complicated than telling people what they want to hear.
How can stylists navigate this confusing mix of contradictory information? It's relatively simple; If a Brazilian Keratin product greatly reduces volume and maintains smooth shine and a reduction in volume for several months, it either has formaldehyde or a similar aldehyde. If something is called a "formaldehyde free" Brazilian Keratin formula, and it lasts only until the next washing, than it may
truly be without Formaldehyde or any derivatives.
The bottom line is that there is not a "magic formula". It does not exist. Any genuinely effective Brazilian Keratin either has a type of aldehyde or a derivative - there is no short cut. Yes, a beautiful flat-iron and blowout with some nice keratin conditioner might last for several days and make a client happy, but it is not an escova. Off course, there are still profound differences amongst the BKT formulas that are currently available. One should be cautious about "overnight" brands that are
based upon marketing strategies disguised as "training classes" (how many master stylists need to know how to flat iron or apply formula?). Also, there are incredible amounts of brands or people
who buy expired or spoiled products in Brazil for pennies, then sell them for full price.
Our products use the most advanced technology possible to maintain the BKT effect while using the least harmful amount of aldehyde related compounds. Our formula uses Keratin that has been
broken down into the small size (nano-particle) necessary for maximum effect. For this reason, the required ratio of other chemicals goes way down (most brands typically will just stir together several raw ingredients).
